Trained by Parashurama (Vishnu’s sixth avatar), he will wield divine weapons and defeat oppressive forces symbolizing adharma (unrighteousness) [10][31]. His arrival is predicted to coincide with specific astrological alignments, such as the moon, sun, and Jupiter converging in the Pushya constellation [1].  

End of Kali Yuga  

The Kali Yuga is marked by corruption, violence, and spiritual decline, with humanity reduced to short lifespans and moral bankruptcy [1]. Kalki’s intervention will eradicate tyrannical rulers, false ideologies, and systemic injustices, culminating in a final battle against forces of chaos [30][31][10]. This cleansing will reset cosmic cycles, terminating the current era’s suffering and hypocrisy [1][16][10].  

Restoration of Dharma  

Kalki’s primary mission is to reestablish dharma, reinstating the four-fold varna system (social order) and reviving Vedic principles of truth, charity, and compassion [10][31]. His rule will prioritize spiritual merit over material wealth, ending exploitation and restoring justice [1][10][16]. The Bhagavad Gita’s promise—“I manifest to protect the righteous”—underscores this cosmic corrective[31].  

Cosmic and Human Renewal  

The transition to Satya Yuga involves a global spiritual awakening, elevating consciousness and aligning humanity with divine will [31]. Nature itself will transform, with predator-prey enmities dissolving, reflecting the restored harmony of creation [1]. Kalki’s reign will initiate a “golden age” of longevity, peace, and collective virtue [1][16][31].

While traditional texts predict Kalki’s arrival ~427,000 years into the future [30][31], some modern interpretations suggest symbolic or gradual manifestations of his influence. Alternate theories posit his role as a metaphor for inner spiritual struggle, emphasizing personal transformation over literal apocalypse [31].
