Life is about making choices, the right choices that are beneficial not just for you but for everyone. If something is beneficial just for you, it’s guaranteed that it is the opposite for others. When something or some activities hurt others, it will affect you as well. Basically, the rule is that the most selfish thing you can do is to do things for the other person or, better, for the bigger picture because that will ultimately be most beneficial for you. Right now, we do the exact opposite; we act and speak as if we are saints, telling others, but primarily ourselves, that we do things for the other person, while the only real thing we think about is making money, nothing else. We are shallow, hollow, and empty because we do not understand what it means to be human and can not answer the most basic question of existence, ‘to be or not to be’, with the one and only correct answer.

Linking our Thinking

We have chosen that computers can do our thinking, but we forget that we are the ones programming those computers. We do not realize that if we do not train our brains to think, how can we program computers to help us think and make the right decisions? We find ourselves in a negative spiral of a so-called feedback loop, where the only way out is to stop, think, and reflect. The Life Line

A lifeline has been thrown at us; we only need to dial the right number, and for that, we need some group therapy from above and beyond. NLP is also about seeing the bigger picture by looking at life from birth to death and beyond. It teaches us how to make decisions with the end in mind, which is why ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ is one of the therapies offered, but NLP forms a foundation for our thinking. Understanding the ‘lifeline’ principle from NLP teaches us humans to think before acting by looking ahead. We all know life is a journey, as was the development of AI. We should have realized decades ago that such a huge and impactful technological development in a world that was much in need of such great opportunities needed global government that would have made us able to use AI for good instead of bad.
