The Observer

The Holy See has a unique role within the United Nations. I believe it would not be wise to dismantle existing structures, especially when the world is in such a fragile state. Instead, the Church should leverage its influence and power to address the issues at hand.

Determining what is right or wrong becomes straightforward when we examine the documents that clearly outline how things should be done. The only thing lacking in this situation is the necessary action to implement those guidelines.

The Main or Biggest Reason

To solve today's world problems, you need to know a lot of new technological advancements that, at a certain age, become slightly more difficult, mainly when your talents lie somewhere totally different. I will show the Pope where the solutions lie, but then he has to use his power and influence for implementation. But whoever remembers the front of my website could imagine another problem: why the Pope would not want to work together. Still, he knows, and everyone knows who reads the first verses of the bible. I'm right, and there is nothing I can do about that; existence is the way it is, and whether you agree or not agree does not change it. More importantly, it's why it's that prominent on my front page. The reason should be evident because Trump is making life harder, especially for these minorities. Looking at his behavior, background, and how much of what Trump says ever is true should count for everyone, including the Pope, as a big fat warning sign. This sign should be just the reason to work together, if not….

Religion and spirituality are essential to ensure this will not happen again because they teach us to align words and thoughts with our deeds. There are, of course, already a lot of accusations made towards the church and around Pope Francis's acquisitions, especially considering the situation he had to operate in. No matter what his reasons were, we will all see that when I ask the Pope to tell the world to act according to what they preach and give him the solution in hand, it would be impossible to deny it just because some people identify themselves as transgenders. That is not reason enough not to care for more than 1 billion believers.

Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, has faced various accusations related to his tenure in Argentina prior to becoming pope. These allegations often stem from his actions and decisions during the Argentine military dictatorship, as well as his views and policies regarding social issues.

Accusations During the Military Dictatorship

One of the most significant accusations involves Pope Francis's role during Argentina's Dirty War (1976-1983), a period marked by state terrorism and human rights abuses. Critics claim that he had a passive stance or was complicit in the regime's oppressive actions.

Abduction of Jesuits: Allegations exist that Bergoglio did not intervene to protect two Jesuit priests who were kidnapped by the military. His critics argue that he could have used his influence to secure their release.

Collaboration with the Government: Some have accused him of being too close to the military junta, suggesting he prioritized the Church's safety and interests over standing against state-sanctioned violence.

Handling of Abuse Cases

Another area of accusation pertains to Pope Francis's handling of sexual abuse cases within the Catholic Church.

Failure to Act: Critics assert that during his time as Archbishop of Buenos Aires, he did not sufficiently address allegations of sexual abuse perpetrated by clergy members. This has led to questions regarding his commitment to addressing the issue.

Crisis Response: His approach to the systemic problems of sexual abuse in the Church has been viewed by some as inadequate, leading to public skepticism about his ability to lead meaningful reforms.

Social Issues and Discourse

Pope Francis has also faced criticism related to his views on socio-economic issues, particularly in Argentina, where he has been perceived as less progressive than some advocates would prefer.

Poverty and Inequality: While he has spoken out against poverty and social inequalities, some detractors argue that his responses, while genuine, lack the necessary urgency or action in the face of deep-rooted systemic issues.

LGBTQ+ Stance: His previous remarks on LGBTQ+ issues have drawn criticism for not being supportive enough. His perceived conservative stance on sexuality has led some activists to challenge his commitment to inclusivity.

Conclusion

In summary, accusations surrounding Pope Francis regarding his history in Argentina can be categorized into socio-political actions during the dictatorship, inadequate handling of sexual abuse within the Church, and conservative stances on social issues. These allegations contribute to the complex narrative of his past and the ongoing discussions concerning his papacy.
